(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration’s top science and technology official, who has argued for the economic de-development of America, warned science students last Friday that the United States cannot expect to be “number one” forever.
“We can’t expect to be number one in everything indefinitely,” Dr. John P. Holdren said at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Conservatives look out across this country and see the vast untapped potential waiting to be discovered; Liberals see a nation of servile, useful idiots. It may sound simplistic and demeaning but given the daily barrage of comments like this from the left one has to wonder.
The proof is in the legislative pudding.
If anyone doubts the left views the people of this country as inept and dependant on the government for support, a quick review of liberal policies should erase any doubt. Liberal policies over the last several decades have been written to remove any sense of reposnsibility from individuals and shift that responsibility to the government.
Health care is on the most recent attack on individual liberties; one of a multitude. Minimum wage laws, welfare programs, tax rebate giveaways, indefinite unemployment benefits and the ever increasing public sector job force are just the tip of the liberal, welfare state iceberg. All of these programs prop up individuals who are capable of surviving on their own but who have been taught they cannot succeed but for the governments benevolent assistance.
Socialists, Marxists, eugenicists and the like form the Obama administrations inner circle. With friends like these America needs no enemies.
The truth is this administration honestly believes that America has no right to be number one. They feel we have had our run now its time to let someone else have a chance. Don't beleve me? Let Obama's F.C.C. diversity Czar tell you in his own words "We're in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power." That was not the spirit that this nation was founded on and it is not the spirit embodied by its people. We need to find leaders who understand that.
