Fiscal Irresponsibility Summit?

I have been a cop for many years and one thing I have learned to take with a grain of salt are the promises of addicts. It's always the last time and then I'm clean, I swear. Liberals are addicted to spending, they are addicted to wasteful pork barrel projects and addicted to subjugating Americans with financial slavery. Obama's fiscal responsibility summit is about one stimulus too late. It is in fact telling us Americans that they swear the stimulus was their last hit, They're clean after that. The administration at this point has no credibility in the arena of fiscal responsibility. Obama's pledge to cut the budget deficit in half rings as hollow as Sean Penn,s head. It may have had some credibility if he had not just increase the National Debt by nearly $2 trillion dollars. Oh sure, he will cut the budget in places to portray himself as fiscally responsible but he will raise taxes on the "rich" to do so. The idea of fiscal responsibility should be founded in reducing the size and thereby the cost of government. Obama has already shown that reducing the size of government is a non-starter with his administration. I wonder how long it will be before we find out that we are all rich. His plan already allows for the expiration of the tax breaks that George Bush put in place. Watch how he crafts these tax increases into something innocuous. This will be billed as "closing the loopholes on the wealthiest Americans" when in fact anyone making more than $250,000 will be caught in this net. Obama is a master of deception. Keep your eyes on his hands and your wallet while ignoring his words. He will say one thing while he does another all the while counting on our inattentiveness. Be vigilant. I will leave you with some choice words from the Declaration of Independence:
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
